Ian Bradshaw has kindly forwarded this helpful note that Guides may find helpful.
“I started in Kings Manor and walked the group around to the front gate of the Museum gardens just in time for the gates to be opened to the public. I then walked up to the Multangular Tower and noted the fact that the gate to Kings Manor Lane had been opened prior to the main gate. This fact might be of interest to other guides who may decide to take their party into Kings Manor and then down the lane into the Museum Gardens.”
