Our tour guide was Richard of York. Richard was very knowledgeable and had great intermixing stories along the tour. Highly recommend! We thought about a self guided tour but glad we got Richard!
Wendy was an excellent guide on our walk around York. She is knowledgeable, eloquent and able to answer lots of questions about the history of York. Wendy has fascinating stories to impart and genuinely enjoys her generous role as a volunteer. Thank you Wendy for a very pleasant 2 hours!
Best tour and tour guide we have ever had! Helen was our tour guide for 2-1/4 hours. She was wonderful! She gave us such an in-depth tour of York and many facts about the Roman and Medieval periods and beyond to current day. We could tell that she really loves this city and wants to share all that she knows about it. We would never have learned all of this on our own – and she is a volunteer. The pace of the tour was perfect too. Thank you Helen!
