I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the guided tour of York on Wednesday 20th June at 2.15pm. Charlotte who was our guide, was very informative, and it was very interesting to hear about the history of York, some of which I didn’t even know until the tour. I would recommend it to anyone else, who is interested in York and its varied history. Thank you once again, and in particular to Charlotte.

Dear Sir or Madam, we recently enjoyed a tour guided by John S. His knowledge and warmth made the walk the highlight of our trip to the UK. Many thanks to your organization for the wonderful gift it provides visitors to your fascinating city. We hope to return one day. Regards

It was a most enjoyable and informative few hours which significantly increased our enjoyment of a short visit to the wonderful city of York. We just wanted to record our thanks and wish the Association every success in the future. Yours

Hi, we joined a free walking tour of York on Wednesday 8th February 2012 guided by Richard. We would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite the freezing conditions. Richard was a very informative and entertaining guide – so much so that we felt it necessary to email to say how good we thought he was. We had a group of mixed nationalities and ages and Richard expertly gauged just the right level of detail and humour.Thank you very much to the Association of Voluntary Guides for taking the time to run these free walking tours – a great service, much appreciated. Kind Regards
